Uintah School District has plenty to brag about throughout the District but this week focused on the amazing changes and growth of Uintah Online. According to the highlight, for more than a decade, Uintah Online has been the Uintah Basin’s school-from-home option offered through Uintah School District but updates were needed when the 2020-2021 school year arrived. “UON added faculty support leading up to the 2020-2021 school year, adopted a fully comprehensive curriculum, and incorporated student participation in district-wide programs to better meet the needs of students and families,” shares the highlight. “These changes were instrumental in providing the support and access to rich learning opportunities our students would need while attending classes remotely. UON welcomed eight newly assigned teachers to its ranks this year, along with the assistance of nine aides. Each day, teachers and support staff worked with students and parents to track, direct, and support student learning.
