Vernal made a unique list this week shared by a popular publication. WorldAtlas named Vernal among the ‘Least-Crowded Towns In Utah To Catch Fall Foliage’. Other cities on the list include Midway, Manti, Perry, Panguitch, Monticello, and Kanab. The tribute to Vernal of course brings up Dinosaur National Monument with the vibrant autumn hues that can be seen while hiking the Fossil Discovery Trail. Of course for those that live here it’s known the beautiful fall colors can be found around town as well as up the nearby mountains. WorldAtlas was launched in 1994 and is considered the original online geography resource. Check out the list at www.WorldAtlas.com.
