Progress continues on the Roosevelt Nature Park project. Roosevelt City shared on Tuesday that last week, with the help of volunteers from Strata, 500 trees and shrubs were planted as part of the reclamation work in the park as well as on Cottonwood Creek Gulch. The Nature Park and Cottonwood Creek Trail Project is funded through the Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation, Utah’s Watershed Restoration Initiative, the Joint Highway Commission, UDOT, Tax Increment Funding and Roosevelt City. The project cost for phase 1 is about $1.2 million dollars. The Roosevelt Nature Park is expected to open to the public in the spring of 2024
