A Basin tradition is here again and will not disappoint this weekend. Joe and Teddy Evans hatched the idea for Women’s Day Out 19 years ago hoping to provide something fun for locals during the down time of winter and during a month when not a lot is going on in the Uintah Basin. All these years later, the event continues to grow and don’t let the name fool you, all are invited including men, many who come each year as the best place to find the right Valentine’s present for their sweetheart. This year’s event has filled up and seen a boost of excited vendors of all varieties. Each year people come from all over the Basin and Colorado to enjoy the food, prizes, and shopping as well as entertainment and special guests. Women’s Day Out will be held Saturday, February 1st, from 10am to 4pm at the Uintah Conference Center.
