Another fantastic opportunity is coming up where local women can network and collaborate. The next meeting of the Women Business Owners of the Basin is happening next week in Vernal. Women’s Business Center of Utah has been around since 1997, focused on empowering female entrepreneurs while providing technical assistance to women around the state. In 2019, the organization began expanding and eventually began utilizing grant money to set up offices beyond the Wasatch Front to better serve far reaching communities throughout Utah. Partnering with the Innovation Hub in Vernal has allowed local women to be part of this network and find the support they need. This month’s luncheon is coming up on November 20th and the speaker will be Leisa Wallace. Wallace has been guiding entrepreneurs for over 15 years as part of the Women’s Business Center of Utah and she’ll be speaking on ‘Core Values: Building a Career That Reflects Who You Are’.
