A woman was arrested in Uintah County on Friday for DUI while traveling with children in the vehicle. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, dispatch was advised of a reckless driver in a white GMC Yukon that was weaving all over the road. An officer located and followed the vehicle, observing that it failed to maintain a single lane and a traffic stop was initiated. The officer noted that she “seemed unusually sped up” with “unusually rapid” speech and movements. The driver was asked to perform a series of field sobriety testing and it was determined she was unsafe to drive. The three children in the car were released to family members. 37-year-old Lacey Raschell Weber was transported to the Uintah Basin Healthcare location in Vernal where a test was positive for amphetamines. Weber was booked into Uintah County Jail on DUI 2nd offense in 10 years and DUI with passengers under the age of 16. The officer noted that Weber has a prior history of DUI with child passengers.
