A woman was arrested after officers were dispatched to a harassment detail in rural Duchesne County over the weekend. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the caller claimed his ex-wife had been messaging and calling incessantly and he suspected was now the person driving a Mazda by his residence taking photos and ringing his doorbell. A second caller also reported the vehicle and stated they saw the vehicle hit his neighbor. The second caller was angry because his kids were outside at the time and the Mazda was driving recklessly. The neighbor, who was the original caller, had walked out to the road and held his hand out to tell the vehicle to stop. “The driver of the vehicle got up to him, then hit the gas pushing him onto the hood and continued to drive. [The original caller] was able to slide off the side of the vehicle and the Mazda took off. The neighbor confirmed the story and said he watched it and said that he saw [the original caller] bounce off the vehicle’s hood.” They could not positively identify the driver because of the headlights but officers asked for any known residence or location of the ex-wife. The officers checked the residence and found the still warm Mazda vehicle with the plate given off by one number. Officers attempted to make contact with those inside the residence but no one would answer the door. A search warrant was submitted and approved. Once it was executed, officers entered the home and 39-year-old Nicole Marie Solomon, also known as Nicole Yeaman, was placed under arrest. After initially denying it, Solomon began talking about the incident and that she had driven but claimed she rolled forward when her ex walked into the road but never hit him. Solomon was booked into the Duchesne County Jail and is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault and Misdemeanor Electronic Communication Harassment and Intoxication.
