The winter blues are a very real thing after things slow down after the holidays each year.
Roosevelt City offers the perfect solution with Winterfest held every January. Winterfest
kicks off on January 6th with free open swim at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center in the
afternoon and the Alex Sharpe concert that evening at 7pm at Union High School.
Winterfest will include a ‘Flatbreads of the World’ workshop at the USU extension on
January 11th at 10am. On January 12th, TriCounty Health is hosting a snow coloring
activity for kids at Constitution Park. There will be Bingo Night on January 19th at 6pm
at the Roosevelt Branch Library. If there is snow, Family Sledding will happen at
Constitution Park on January 20th from 1 to 3pm. January 27th will be a Day of Dance at
the Crossroads Center with a variety of workshops. Winterfest is held each year as a
series of activities and events in Roosevelt aimed at beating the winter blues. All are
invited to participate.
