Several Winter Weather Advisories have been issued. The first Winter Weather Advisory is for above 7500 feet in southern Uintah County and across western Colorado. Total snow accumulations are expected of 4 to 8 inches with winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Another Winter Weather Advisory has been issued through Wednesday Night for above 7000 feet. The advisory notes that total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts are possible in the Eastern Uinta Mountains and across Daggett County. Wind gusts as high as 50 miles per hour are also expected. Travelers are urged to consider that travel will be very difficult in these areas. It is also worth noting for those traveling through Colorado, CO-139 Douglas Pass has been closed due to weather caued safety concerns.
