Many, many families in the Uintah Basin have been affected personally by cancer and the question of how to help is often asked. Nothing could have prepared the Trujillo family for the heartbreaking news that mother Lori Trujillo has brain cancer and needs to receive radiation and chemotherapy for 6 weeks, 5 days a week, in the battle for her life. With many people concerned and asking what they can do, the family is letting the community know that an account has been set up at Mountain America Credit Union that will be used to pay medical expenses. The account name is “Her Fight Is Our Fight” and any amount is greatly appreciated. Lori’s husband, Tim Trujillo, is a retired Utah Highway Patrolman.
