The Halloween fun kicks off this weekend with plenty of activities to choose from or you
can try to catch them all! Tonight at 6:30pm is the Vernal Christian Church Community
9th annual Harvest Party. The following events are happening on Saturday, October 28th:
From 10:30am to 2:30pm the Haunted Jarvie will be taking place at the John Jarvie
Historic Ranch. For more information, contact the BLM Vernal Field Office at
435-781-4400. The Downtown Vernal Mayor’s Walk will be from 3pm to 5pm with not
only candy but a costume contest and other family activities. Going from 6pm to 9pm is
the 27th Annual Great Jensen Pumpkin Festival with the theme ‘Small Town Hoedown’
in Jensen. Admission is free but parking is $3 dollars that goes towards a charitable
cause. In Roosevelt there is the Pierces Halloween display. They are open from dark to
11pm on Friday and Saturday. If you have a little cash screaming in your pocket do not
forget the Hotel Vernal Haunt, Frightmare Farms, Lapoint Corn Maze and Pumpkin
Patch, Bluebell Corn Maze and the Haunted Woods. Have fun this weekend and be safe!
