West Nile Virus Has Arrived in the Uintah Basin

Maybe you didn’t know but it is West Nile Virus season, the time of year the virus is often discovered present in mosquito pools. TriCounty Health Department announced on Monday the first West Nile Virus positive pool of the year has come from a water body in the Thunder Ridge area, confirmed by the Ute Indian Tribe Mosquito Abatement. All are reminded to cover skin and use DEET between dusk and dawn.
