There are multiple ways to have your voice heard as the planning for the future of downtown Vernal is underway. One fun way to dream big is at one of two downtown locations where you can write your comments and ideas down to be posted on the vacant store windows. One person has shared that they wish the vacant space could become an Olive Garden while another’s wish is for a Barnes and Noble book store. Another way to give your feedback is by taking the Downtown Survey. The Downtown Revitalization Plan Survey is based on the outlook that downtown Vernal has the potential to become a retail and tourist hub with walkable areas. To take the survey and learn more, link through the announcement on www.vernalcity.org or on the Vernal City Facebook page. Finally, plan to stop by anytime during the Community Planning Workshop at Vernal City Hall on May 5th being held from 10am to 4pm and on May 6th from 9:30am to 12pm.
