By now you’ve likely heard there are water restrictions in effect for the Vernal area but what wasn’t as clearly stated is that these restrictions apply to all culinary water users in the entire Ashley Valley. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shared with Evans Family Media that the restriction equally applies to Vernal, Maeser, Jensen, and the Ashley Valley water districts. Absolutely NO culinary water is to be used for outdoor landscaping and all are asked to minimize indoor usage until further notice. The restrictions are affecting more than just average households. Other measures are being taken as well. For example, the Naples Splash Park is closed for the next two weeks as part of the conservation effort.
