Roosevelt City is getting ready for a project to check on the safety of the City’s drinking water. Starting October 7th, City engineers will conduct a water line material survey at randomly selected locations, specifically looking for lead pipes in Roosevelt City. “If you know the material of your water service line from the meter to your home, please take a moment to complete the online survey,” shares the announcement. Tips on how to identify your service line material is included with the survey information. Link to the survey through the ‘Latest Updates’ section on www.RooseveltCity.com. For those that prefer to not fill out the survey, City engineers will use hydro excavation to safely dig a small hole next to your meter box to determine the material.
