The Dollar Ridge Fire, about 4.5 miles Southeast of Strawberry Reservoir, spread quickly on Sunday into Ashley National Forest, starting in Wasatch County and making its way into Duchesne County. Utah Fire Info announced the new wildfire start of 20 acres burning in timber on private property in the late afternoon. By

, the newly named Dollar Ridge Fire was estimated to have grown to 1,500 acres. Two helicopters and 5 engines were on scene at that point with a Type 3 team ordered. Homes and cabins along Strawberry River and Camelot Resort were put on pre-evacuation notice

. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
