Dinosaur National Monument officials are recruiting volunteers for a clean up event next week. “The park archeologist has detected charcoal and etched graffiti on non-cultural rock surfaces along the Box and Hog Canyon trails,” shares officials. “Dinosaur National Monument needs your help removing this graffiti, which is damaging the natural scenery and disrupting visitor experiences…Potential volunteers can expect to hike easy trails, document removal efforts, and use spray bottles, sponges, and leather gloves to remove the graffiti along the Box and Hog Canyon Trails.” The graffiti removal event is taking place on August 23rd, from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
