Pictures are being gathered for a very special project happening throughout the Uintah School District. The School Foods Department will be setting up a “Veterans Wall” in each school in the month of November. Veterans Day is a federal holiday and will be observed on Monday, November 11th. “These will be a bulletin board or similar display with pictures of veterans as the focal point,” shares the announcement. Individuals can send photos of veterans they know to school with their student and the students can give the photos to the Foods staff at their school. If you would like the picture back, please send a note on the picture with your student’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher so the photo can be returned.
