The Vernal Rotary Club stays busy assisting worthy programs in the community and they
want to do even more. Local non-profits and those preparing for local charity events are
invited to apply for mini grants available. The program and event needs to align with at
least one of the Rotary Club’s causes which include: Promoting Education/Literacy;
Protecting Environment; Clean Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Maternal and Child
Health; Fighting Disease; and Supporting Economic/Community Development. A recent
example of a mini grant awarded was to the Uintah Basin Association of Governments to
pay for sleeping bags for the homeless in the community. If interested in applying, email
