After years of construction and major changes, the Vernal Regional Airport is celebrating its way into the future and has invited the public to join in. “We are doing an airport Grand Reopening for the runway, terminal, and also a ribbon cutting for the new air service,” shares Airport Manager Doug Brown. “There will be radio broadcasts, activities for the kids, food by Wingers, drinks by Pepsi, aircraft to look at, and prizes including Lagoon tickets and round trip tickets to Denver.” The Grand Reopening is taking place on Monday, July 2nd, from 4 to 6pm.
