A Vernal man is facing consequences in 8th District Court for allegedly downloading, possessing, and distributing child pornography. According to the Probable Cause Statement, on or about April 30th, 2024, in Uintah County, 26-year-old Ronnie James Street downloaded, possessed and distributed videos and photographs of young children being raped and sexually exploited. When an officer spoke with Street, he admitted to possessing and distributing these images on his personal phone. Street is charged with 10 counts of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and 10 counts of 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. His initial appearance in court is scheduled for November 18th.
