Vernal City crews continue to work on snow and ice removal while striving to address potential drainage problems. “This year’s snow events are well above average and overwhelmed the city services,” explains Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “Between storms, the crews are working to clear snow and ice from drain boxes and problem drainage areas. Residents are encouraged to do the same and remedy areas that snow melt will cause water damage.”
