Work has continued on the revitalization projects in downtown Vernal but most work will be on pause soon for the winter months. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shares that the decent weather has allowed crews to work longer into the season but that is wrapping up this month. One exciting accomplishment has been the concrete work put in behind the Main Street buildings on the Zions block. Crews also plan to make the parking lot accessible again by getting the road base set and compacted in the parking lot for the winter. Once that happens the fencing can be pulled so people can park and use it in the winter months. In the spring, work will start back up with landscaping and preparing the parking lot for asphalt.
