Vernal City has provided an update as the Cobblerock reconstruction project continues forward. “Last week, the walkway construction started at the Cobblerock parking lot just off of Vernal Avenue. The contractor is now pouring sidewalks lining the parking lot…The sidewalk installation is expected to be completed this week. A curing period of a few days is required before the sidewalks are fully accessible to the public,” shares the announcement. “The final phase of the Vernal Avenue project will include the dropping of the large power poles, installation of string lights, flower pots with drip irrigation, and the planting of street trees. These enhancements are scheduled to be completed in the spring.” Vernal City officials have shared their appreciation for the public’s patience and understanding during construction and are looking forward to celebrating the completion of these enhancement projects. “We are happy to see these projects progressing,” shares Eric Dilworth, Vernal City Project Manager. “We look forward to the completion of both projects to benefit the businesses and their customers.”
