The Vernal Area Chamber’s 2nd Quarter Outstanding Public Service Award recipient is Aaron Averett of Sunrise Engineering. Averett opened the Sunrise Engineering Vernal office 6 years ago after having worked for Sunrise Engineering in Washington, Utah for 8 years. He has been involved in multiple community service projects, contributing to grant applications such as the $200,000 dollar grant for solar panels at the Utah Fieldhouse storage facility in 2012. More recently, Averett has been involved on the DinoTrails Committee helping to obtain grant funding for planning and projects. Aaron, his wife Angela, and 4 young children, love spending time outdoors and enjoying everything the Uintah Basin has to offer.
