New businesses have really helped downtown Vernal blossom and one has added an element of fun that the community has embraced. Brian and Katie Abrams, owners of Dinoland Bowl, were presented with the Beautification Award from the Vernal Chamber Public Relations Committee last week. The Vernal Chamber shares that “Brian and Katie Abrams have enjoyed living in Vernal for almost 7 years. Since their arrival in the Basin, they had frequently heard mention of how much the community missed the bowling alley that had been a part of the Vernal community for 50 years. Since they have 6 children, they recognized the need for more entertainment, especially during our cold winter months. During the forced down time caused by the pandemic, they decided to research the possibility of bringing bowling back to Vernal. Although the Abrams didn’t have prior bowling experience, they have always had an interest in contributing to our community. Brian and Katie were encouraged by the immediate enthusiasm this generated in the community.” The bowling alley currently has 35 employees and is a hot spot of entertainment in town! Congratulations to the Abrams and everyone involved in bringing this back to the community.
