The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce has welcomed David O’Riordan, a man full of energy, ideas, and a broad perspective, as their new Executive Director. Ten years ago O’Riordan, his wife, and children made the monumental decision to pack everything they could fit into 4 suitcases and move from Ireland to America. Three years ago the O’Riordans fell in love with Vernal and were excited to make it home. During his time in America, O’Riordan has worked in the nonprofit sector, healthcare sector, and most recently, in education. “Now, as I step into this new role,” shares O’Riordan, “I’m fully aware of its significance in promoting both the businesses and the incredible community we have here. I assure you, I take this responsibility seriously and look forward to serving the members of this Chamber and our wider community.
