Vandalism happens in any community but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating for the majority of the public that care for and respect public facilities. That’s the case with a report of vandalism at a Vernal City park. Uintah County Special Service District 1 reported on Tuesday that the bathroom facility at the Ashley Valley Community Park on 500 North had been vandalized by a group that opened a box of white paint and got creative on the outer walls of the bathroom facility and sidewalks. The District took to social media and asked the public to check their kids for white paint on their hands and asked anyone with information to please come forward. “The parks and Maintenance crews strive to keep our things nice for our community to use,” shared the announcement. “Please help us find the individuals responsible.” The vandalism has been reported to Vernal City Police.
