The Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity is asking Utahns to take part in a second internet speed test. The Utah Internet Speed Test Campaign is a statewide initiative for Utahns to self-report their internet speed at home, work, or wherever they’re connected to the internet. Data collected will be mapped and used to invest resources to improve broadband access across the state. Everyone’s help is needed to identify Utah’s areas with the greatest need for speed. Whether you have poor speeds or great speeds, participation will identify any digital divides and help to ensure the state can open doors to quality education, employment opportunities, and healthy options to all Utahns. To take the speed test, visit speedtest.utah.gov. If you do not have internet access, call 435-777-TEST(8378).
