The Utah Wildlife Board is seeking applicants for the Northeastern Region board member position that will be open later this year and the applications must be in this month. “With the ending of three members’ terms of service in August 2025, and the resignation of another member effective July 31st, the Utah Wildlife Board has four open positions to fill. The seven-member Wildlife Board — the group that makes the final decisions about hunting, fishing and how wildlife is managed in Utah — is inviting members of the public to apply. Board members are appointed by the governor and serve a six-year term. They are encouraged to attend the public Regional Advisory Council meetings in their respective regions, and also must attend roughly six public Wildlife Board meetings in Farmington each year. The positions are unpaid.” Anyone interested in applying for the Northeastern Region position should submit an application at boards.utah.gov by 5pm on March 31st.
