Regardless of your perspective on the COVID-19 pandemic it’s likely in one way or another it has added stress to your life. The Utah Strong Recovery Project is offering free help for COVID-19 related stress. The Uintah Basin has experienced a steady increase in local cases of COVID-19 this month. As of the Tuesday Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com, there are now 68 Active Cases of COVID-19 in the TriCounty Health District bumping the Overall Total to date to 114. Regardless of who you are, the Utah Strong Recovery Project is offering emotional support, crisis counseling, coping strategies, mental health education, and referrals for those in need of additional help. If you or someone you know is experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression because of COVID-19, crisis counselors are available daily from 7am to 7pm by call or text at 385-386-2289.
