The Liquor Store in Vernal has been closed until further notice. According to Terry Wood, Director of Communication with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the Vernal store was closed on Monday following the results of a positive test for COVID-19 in a store employee. “Following procedure in such an incident, the store will be closed until further notice while the Tri-County Health Department assesses the situation,” shares Wood. “The store will be sanitized and disinfected by a professional company before reopening.” Wood says that at this time there is not a proposed date for reopening.
