The Utah Safety Council has awarded a local construction company based on their excellent safety record. Burdick Materials received the Award of Merit for outstanding safety performance ranked off of their OSHA three year incident report. The company had three total recordable cases within the report, two of which occurred in 2014 and one in 2015. Most impressive was that in 2016 there were no incidents and none of the injuries reported required employee time away from work. Burdick Materials was also required to have met all other safety program requirements including quarterly safety meetings and safety training, among other requirements. Congratulations Burdick Materials on maintaining an impressive record.
