The pandemic has taken a heavy toll on everyone but has taken more from some than others. For those in the Uintah Basin that have lost their job, Utah’s Department of Workforce Service is holding a Layoff Resources Virtual Workshop. These workshops guide individuals through unemployment benefits, searching for a new job, finding temporary financial assistance, and more. They are held daily on Monday through Friday at 2pm. To take part go to jobs.utah.gov and create an account (or sign in to “my Job Search”), check the calendar for a workshop and register.
