As a regional campus in a rural area, USU-Uintah Basin will be benefitting from a three-year grant from the George S. and Dolores Eccles Foundation. The $216,000 dollar grant is aimed at supporting first-generation students pursuing degrees in the sciences and Native American students are strongly encouraged to apply. “This grant opens the door for USU’s regional campus students, who find themselves financially strained, but with a strong desire for higher education,” shares USU Vice Provost Rich Etchberger. “The power of this opportunity will cause a ripple effect in their future educational and career choices.” Those interested in learning more are invited to visit
