The monthly USU Uintah Basin Speaker Series will be starting up today. Kicking off the series will be Megan Willison, the Park Archaeologist at Dinosaur National Monument. Megan Willison is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and she received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 in Anthropology. She received her Masters degree in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut in 2016. She is currently enrolled as a doctoral candidate at the University of Connecticut and is working on her thesis, which is focused on indigenous settlement patterns and trade relations in early 17th century southern New England. Tonight she will be presenting in the USU Uintah Basin Vernal Campus room B101 at 7pm on the Archaeology of Dinosaur National Monument. All are welcome.
