If you are involved in ranching or farming in northeastern Utah and have an interest in the management of Utah’s wildlife your service is needed. Nominations are now being accepted for several positions on four of the five Regional Advisory Councils that share public feedback with the Utah Wildlife Board. The Agriculture position for the Northeastern Region has an upcoming vacancy and those interested are encouraged to apply. Each of the five Regional Advisory Councils across the state meet about 6 times a year and consist of 12 to 15 members, each of whom can serve up to four years. Nominations have to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on April 30th. The new RAC members will begin their unpaid term on July 1. For more information, to apply, or to submit a nomination, visit www.wildlife.utah.gov or call the Vernal DWR office at 435-781-9453.
