Union High School is known for its excellent Drama program so it’s no surprise that the Union Drama Team was crowned the Region champions this month. In fact, the entire team has qualified for state competition taking place April 10th through the 12th. Just highlighting the 1st place winners: Lilliauna Burgi, Ava Johnson, London Brighton and Mack Mangus won in Musical Theatre; Asher Tomlinson, Jaron Mathews and Story Tomlinson won in Pantomime; Kylie Orem won in Humorous Monologue; Lilliauna Burgi won in Dramatic Monologue; Asher Tomlinson, Jaron Mathews and Story Tomlinson won in Contemporary Scene; Lexus Scholes, Mayia Winterton and Maddy Reiley won in Classical Scene; and Asher Tomlinson won in the One Act category and was named best Actor. Their State Showcase is being held April 8th at 5:30pm in the Union High School Auditorium. All are invited!
