The Union Cougar Wrestling team finished up their season at the state competition in Provo, Saturday, February 10th. The team claimed fourth overall with many wrestlers placing. Brock and Parker Brinkerhoff both earned sixth place in their weight classes. Loni Lutui took fourth in the 285 weight class and Nolan Bullethead took fourth in the 220 weight class. Bridger Green took fourth place and Brock Labrum finished third. Jate Frost is Union’s State Champion wrestling at 145. “We did really well, we placed higher as a team than we have in recent years,” shares Brock Labrum who finished third at state. “We also had more individuals place as well.” Congratulations Cougar wrestlers for a great job at state.
