The Union High School boys swim team have claimed the title of 3A state champions. “The top three teams were separated by only 3 points as the team race was as close as it gets,” shares the Union Cougars news announcement on Saturday. “The entire swim team did great as they had several great performances.” The Boys 200 Medley team placed 2nd. The Boys 400 Freestyle relay placed 2nd. Taylor Hawkins placed 4th in the 200 Individual Medley. Dylan Hawkins placed 5th in the 100 Butterfly. Will Bertoch placed 6th in the 200 Freestyle. Carson Stewart placed 4th in the long distance 500 Meter Freestyle and Taylor Hawkins took 3rd place in the 100 Backstroke. Congratulations to the entire swim team and to the boys for taking the 3A State Title!
