Thankfully there were no injuries after a semi caught fire on I-80 near Green River on Monday causing an unintended Bar-B-Que as thousands of pounds of frozen food were cooked up in the process. The Green River Fire Department responded to a page of a semi truck that was hauling frozen food pulled over and on fire. “Upon arrival at mile marker 77 the Green River Fire Department found the truck fully engulfed,” shares the announcement. “Firefighters were on scene for 3 hours to make certain the fire was extinguished. No one was injured but the truck and trailer were a total loss.” Responding agencies included Wyoming State Patrol, Castle Rock Ambulance, Sweetwater County Fire, and Granger Fire Department.
