November’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Utah is estimated at 2.8%, a tenth of a percent increase over October. Approximately 50,300 Utahns are unemployed and Utah’s October unemployment rate is unrevised at 2.7%. The November national unemployment rate decreased two-tenths of a percentage-point to 3.7%. Unemployment in Daggett County is at 4.1% which is down from 4.5 % one year ago. Duchesne County unemployment is at 3.1% which is the same as one year ago. Uintah County unemployment has also changed little over the year with 3.4% unemployment. The Department of Workforce Services has the next unemployment update scheduled for January 22nd.
