The USA Wrestling Utah organization has put a spotlight on an amazing wrestling coach
who spends most of the year coaching the Uintah High School team. “Coach Candace
Triggas (Workman) has earned the honor to represent the United States and Utah in
Panama as a coach at the U15 Pan American Championships,” shares USA Wrestling
Utah. “This is a huge honor for a coach from our Utah family to be out there representing
our nation on such an elite level. She has now represented the United States as an athlete
and a coach, both with outstanding grace, class, and results! On day 1 of competition the
US U15 Pan American team had 5 golds in the first 5 weights and day 2 kept that
momentum ending with 5 more medals, 4 gold and 1 bronze. All 10 weight classes
medaled and the US walked away with the team title and 9 GOLD Medals!”
