Uintah Theatre’s production of ‘Anastasia’ opens in just two weeks and this magical musical is featuring the perfect mix of familiar and new talent to tell this epic story.
The story is based on the beloved animated film version of Anastasia with much of the same music while eliminating the more mystical elements and reworking who is out to get the Romanov family. The show has a supporting cast of 60 talented student performers and six leads played by Sarah Nielson, Cade Marshall, Grace Christiansen, Kevin Haslem, Aurelia Harrison, and Joshua Ek. As Uintah High is known for, this musical delivers professional production quality, including the original scenic projections used on Broadway and the award winning lighting and scenic designers of Uintah Theatre. The costume team have been prepping for months on costumes from imperial Russia to Paris in the roaring 20’s. Anastasia is playing for only four nights, October 26th through the 29th.
