Two Uintah High School students represented the Uintah Basin over the weekend while
performing in All State concerts at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. Senior Breanna
Helm performed with the Utah All State Band for her third consecutive year which is an
extremely rare accomplishment. Junior Ryanna Baldwin performed for her first time in
the Utah All State Orchestra as the first Uintah student to be accepted into that ensemble.
The All State ensemble represents the top 1% of orchestra students in the state of Utah.
Likewise, the All State Band is a very competitive group that has had triple the number of
students in the state auditioning to get in in the last 3 years. Congratulations to these
musicians on their accomplishments and well done on representing the Uintah Basin so
well.
