A Uintah High School student has plenty of reasons to smile. Jared Connelly has been selected as one of only five students in the state to represent Utah as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in Career and Technical Education. “Jared will now enter the National contest and if he does well there, will be awarded with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC, where he will receive his medallion,” shares Uintah High School. “Students are nominated based on: academic rigor; technical competence; employability skills; and ingenuity/creativity/problem solving. This is one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.” Congratulations Jared Connelly on your great accomplishment!
