The Uintah High School Sterling Scholar Night was held on Monday at the Vernal Middle School Auditorium and this year’s youth did a great job sharing their talents. This year’s Sterling Scholars are Emma Aycock in Family and Consumer Sciences, Rylee Crane in Science, Bowden Gardner in Mathematics, Hadlie Horrocks in Agricultural Science, Annabelle Johnson in Instrumental Music, Emberly Kinsey in Visual Arts, Jacob Knox in Business and Marketing, Kate Larson in World Languages, Cole Manwaring in Social Sciences, Lewis Pettit in General Scholarship, and Kaylee Russell in Dance. The evening recognized each student and featured performances. The Northeast Region Sterling Scholar Competition is taking place on March 12th.
