Uintah Sterling Scholars Celebrated As They Prepare For Competition

The Uintah High School Sterling Scholars were celebrated twice on Monday. First, during the Uintah Schools State of the District event and second, on Monday evening when they performed and presented their talents. USU Uintah Basin, UBTech, and the Uintah Schools Foundation assisted in honoring these exemplary students.The 2022 – 2023 Sterling Scholars for Uintah High School are EmmaLyn Day in Trade and Technical Education, Alec Rimmasch in Mathematics, Adam Semadeni in General Scholarship, Olivia Hawkes in Dance, Gentry Yeaman in Visual Arts, Briel Pettit in Instrumental Music, Victoria Barrus in Social Science, Shelby Accuttoroop in Science, Nataly Rosas Franco in Computer Science, and Anya Brown in English. These outstanding students will be among the Uintah Basin representatives at the Northeast Region Sterling Scholar Competition in the spring.
