The hard work and dedication of a local young man has helped him accomplish something very rare. Uintah High Boys Basketball senior Dauson Gardiner is among the top scorers in the history of Uintah basketball. He scored his 1,000th career point in the recent game against Bear River High at the Bear River Winter Classic. Gardiner is only the second player since records started being kept in 2002 to score 1,000 career points. Josh Speirs reached the mark during the 2021-2022 season. Evans Family Media joins in congratulating Dauson Gardiner on his impressive accomplishment.
