The Uintah Schools Foundation is hosting a large used book sale this weekend and next weekend where visitors will find books they never knew they needed! “There are 1000’s of books to search through to find your treasure. The Uintah Schools Education Foundation is hosting the book sale. The Can-Do Crew has been collecting books for years as part of their recycling efforts. There is not a good place to haul the books for recycling so the books will be offered to the public,” shares the Foundation’s announcement. “The books are 10 cents each or a bag for $2. The sale is more about saving the books than raising funds. Donations and funds will be given to the Uintah Schools Education Foundation for educational uses in our local schools.” The book sale will be held in Blue Building B behind Uintah Middle School and will run June 5th and 6th and June 12th and 13th from 9am to 4pm each day. There are also two opportunities for volunteers to help sort and organize books on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for the next two weeks.
